The new Davis Vantage Pro weather station is now in place and has been tested now for over 4 months. There have been glitches, but things seem very stable now and the system is producing good reliable data.

In addition to the "weather display live" software we have added further displays giving a comprehensive view of the elements at work here in the Alpujarras.

We have just also completed the addition of Mesomap Weather Map installation which allow us to see at a glance what is happening throughout Andalucia.

Are we weather geeks? Sure. As mountain guides we do have a vested interest in what is happening out there, but the amount of great software of there at the moment makes for interesting times!

You can view the station data at http://www.spanishhighs.co.uk/weatherlive/index.php

If anybody has any questions or wishes contact/software details or advice then please feel free to contact me through this forum or via Spanish Highs Mountain Guides.
