Hi Ive had a search through all posts containing the word "butterfly" and not found any that look like this one. Can anyone help with an ID on it please?
There are lots of these around a the moment but always seem to land on stones rather than flowers??

I think it's a Wall Butterfly, Lasiommata megera.  They love basking on rocks.
