Hi All,

ID for this very small greenish bug only 6 - 8 mm, possibly a shield bug !!, photo taken close to water and fir copse.

In my opinion it belongs to the familly Rhopalidae. Genus Stictopleurus maybe.

Thank you for that, I had a good look over the web and it ties up with an adult Stictopleurus punctatonervosus, most of the photos I have looked at though, show it to be a brown colour more than the greenish that I have in my photo, but patternation etc all tie up.
