In a spurt of madness, I’ve decided to publish a slimmed-down version of iberianature in Spanish. We shall see how this goes…

Hi Nick
Excellent idea, should, hopefully, make it more inclusive to interested parties in our host country, and also give us even more to practice our Spanish on.
Regards
Dave K

Thanks Dave,

As usual I'll probably get bored after a few weeks and move onto something completely different. But the beauty of running a web is that you can come back to those unfinished ideas and add a bit more when you inspired again.

I'm still not sure where it's going to go but it's probably going to be a bit like a directory:

Check out the lobo bit here:

I've also managed to do my first ever drop-down menu (topleft).

Don't get bored yet Nick! I'm so pleased your impulse has led me to Aherca.com. Lovely wolf videos - and I turned the music up  8) I've added a link to them on my mammals page + one to Galanthus tours which means I'll be spending most of my day dreaming about my 2009 spring escape to the Sierra de la Culebra  :)

Greetings Nick,
Just came across this 'cos of Simon's last. Can't remember what I was doing in March - when everyone else 'cept Simon seems to have picked up on it - probably too busy bewaring the Ides.
Echoing Dave's comments - excellent idea!  :clapping:

Hi Teeps,

Talking odd 'Ides of March', as opposed to Nuts in May (I'll give you this one as it's the biz: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuts_in_May), do you think old Jules would have been better off to have been, "exeucted!"  :technodevil:

Sounds like a bit of a hybrid to me; remember, you heard it first here folks!  :dancing:

Ciao

Simon

Just added a "Noticias breves" section to the Natura Iberica. Middle column. News items here won't show up on front iberianature page.

If anyone comes across interesting stories in your local press that I might not come across, please let me know, if you can bothered.

Thanks

Nick

What about that landlocked boat they just found in Barcelona whilst building a new car park near Estacion de Francia?

Apparently it proves that Barcelona had commercial ties with the Atlantic as well as the Med way back in the 13th or 14th century...

It sounds fascinating.... Probably needs a new topic about it....

OK so that's not my local press... Its yours :) ... But I read it in my local press....
