I know that birds enjoy sun and dust-bathing, as well as anting, but today I saw a new activity. Some Magpies were making a lot of noise and when I looked outside the window, there were two sitting with their backs to an external air-conditioning unit, allowing the fan to ruffle their feathers.  They seemed to be really enjoying the sensation.  But the air these machines expel is hot, isn’t it?

Hot is nice for fighting hot weather... Myself sometimes, in the hottest august take hot baths for refreshing my vascular system. But although it can be pure pleasure of enjoy the wind of the machine.

Very nice picture, Lucy.
