Had an enjoyable evening out last night (till three in the morning) helping to track a pair of Algerian hedgehogs in the Gava area outside Barcelona. It was great to get away from the heat of the city and feel the cool summer night air, while serenaded by Scop's and little owls.

We managed to see one of the tracked Algerian hedgehogs.

Photo of Algerian hedgehogs from Mónica who I hope will be joining the forum soon

This second photo (also by Mónica) is of a European hedgehog (almost certainly) which we came across on the way back.
