Dear All
We have so many different birds passing around the  land at the moment  I am just gob smacked and cant always work them out from my Spanish bird book  but I am pretty certain we have a pair of goshawks causing mayhem among the existing population that particularly live in the prickly pear.  We also have rabbit warrens.

They are very noisy at times or at least one of them is.  Their tails are very  distinctive. longer and marked in bands of brown and white.   Quite happy to sit in trees near the house .  I think they have been put out  as I am by an earth mover which is cutting a bigger camino past the house.

There are bigger hawks here but they stay high.SueMac

Totally confused now because there is a large cuckoo around too which comes in very close to the house.
