Almond blossom in Barcelona

While I'm on the subject of spring...I've heard a lot about the beautiful almond blossom around Barcelona which comes out in February (I think) - could you possibly recommend a good place to see it as I missed it last year? (sorry I know this is the insect dept. but I didn't want to start a new thread and if you live in the BCN area....) thanks!

I think the most spectacular displays of almond blossom are down Tarragona way, but closer to home there is quite a lot around the valley of Sant Just, which is at the southern end of Collserola (if you walk along the ridge from Vallvidrera to Sant Pere Martir, it's the area you can see below you, on the right.) You're right about the month - sometimes it appears at the end of January but February is the main period.
