We don't normally handle the wildlife that we come across, but this little fellow we found nonchalently crossing the Carboneras to Mojacar Playa road. I parked up where I could and ran back, making oncoming drivers aware of its presence. Before we put him back into the roadside undergrowth we couldn't help but a have a quick photoshoot for the records. My first Spanish Chameleon and I didn't even have to look for it.
My questions are; is this their normal size? is it a young one?

Regards
Eddie

Hi Eddie,

This is a young one! Congratulations with your first Spanish chameleon.

Want to see a big fellow:
