Hi everyone,

Ive just had a snake in my patio (nearly died) it was along a legde, it was black with vivd green markings, looked like a chevron or v type markings, it was about a meter or so long and quite thin,

We are on the outskirts of Torremolinos, surronded by quite a bit of greenery from large houses
Oh another thing would it be dangerous

Many thanks inadvance guys

Hi ambersmom and welcome. I'd been waiting for a more expert opinion but seeing as nothing is forthcoming yet you'll have to make do with mine  ;D
Have a look at Grass snakes on this Amphibians and Reptiles of Europe site. If it is Natrix natrix, Spanish name Culebra de collar, then it's not poisonous.
