Title: Nature reserves of Valencia and Murcia, best ones?
Post by: aeshna on August 14, 2012, 12:34 PM
Hi,

I will be staying near Torrevieja next week and I am looking for details of nature reserves in the Valencia and Murica region.

I am willing to travel 2/3 hours.

In the past I have been to La Mata, El Fondo, Salines Santa Pola and Font Roja.

Good locations for dragonflies and butterflies ideally but any ideas/sites will be welcome.

Thanks.

Hi,
check the walks in Marina Alta (http://www.topwalks.net/en/marina_alta.htm (http://www.topwalks.net/en/marina_alta.htm)) and Marina Baixa (http://www.topwalks.net/en/marina_baixa.htm (http://www.topwalks.net/en/marina_baixa.htm)) in Alicante. My favourites walks are in the valley of Laguart (Fleix).
