Sue has written a starter for the April flowers in Grazalema..... I like the way she is setting out the page in colours and adding to it as the month goes by...

Very well designed too. This is the same thing Lucy wanted to do in Collserola.

My thoughts entirely about the book (see Dave's comment), you two, Clive and Sue that is, seem like you're going to be grounded for a couple of years  :technodevil: but with Lucy as a 'scout' we could well have a good book idea here! If I hear anything from my various publishers I'll let you know - but don't hold your breath, my main man's business is 90% down on last year  :banghead:  :banghead:  :banghead:

This is a very useful guide Sue.  I love the way you’re doing it by month as well as colour.  This, together with the way it’s localised, is really going to take the pain out of identification for any one visiting Grazalema.

A similar guide to Collserola would be nice, although I’m still a bit low on the learning curve!  A bit more field-work would be necessary.  The blog is a great way to practice without having to be very disciplined.

Meanwhile, while on the subject of Forummers' literary efforts, have a look at this:

The Grazalema San Isidro Romeria was not affected at all by the torrential rain storm.... Nothing stops these guys from celebrating the countryside and having a party

The Grazalema Guide now has the Spanish version which still has a very long way to go.... It is blatantly commercial as the Information Centre that the GG now runs needs the cash desperately... Still there is some information there as well :)

Hopefully everything that appears on the English language GG will appear on the Spanish version as well...(umm at some point)

Hello,

Well lots been happening website wise these last few weeks..... :)

The Grazalema Guide along with Wildside Holidays suffered badly from hacking attacks last year and it was impossible to repair them.... With this in mind I have made some changes...

The Grazalema Guide is now a 1 stop portal webpage for everything I am involved in www.grazalemaguide.com

It has links to latest posts on the iberianature forum, iberianature, Wildside Holidays and the new iberianature Directory.....

All the old Grazalema articles (and many new articles) are being (re)published at www.wildsideholidays.com

Still working with good old Joomla....... :)

Eek Joomla indeed :)

I find joomla sites really easy to manage and seo wise much more efficient than self hosted wordpress....  Latest versions use much less cpu and put less stress on the server so also better than wordpress...

That said I do use wordpress for another site www.rondatoday.com and of course the entire iberianature.com network is built on 11 wordpress installs....

The trouble with wordpress is its excessive resource uses which gets you in trouble with your host sometimes... especially when your traffic goes above 50,000 visits a month....

regards
Clive
