Hi all,

I found these at the top of Rosario mountain today(1/10/08) about 1000m I really havenĀ“t a clue on fungi, so would be pleased with any info possible.  Their height was approx 10cm that was the tallest and they were all in an area of about 30cm square.

Regards

Syd

Hi Syd

Depending on whether it was found on grass or dung, it could be a Liberty Cap (said to resemble the French soldiers helmet) Psilocybe semilanceata or Panaeolus sphinctrinus Fringed Hay Cap, both not edible, although have been taken for the hallucinatoru drug psilocybin.

Hi Alfredo,

Thank you for your reply. They were in grass no dung to be seen. The odd walker and ibex get up here, but very little else.
