Hi all,

We sent out a Christmas greeting newsletter at the end of December and it seems that quite a few forum members (some regular posters as well) have outdated, expired or security spam settings that stop our emails being delivered....

If your email is not set correctly in your profile you will not receive system emails or private messages.... You won't have received any newsletters either.....

Its very easy to check it via your profile link once logged in....

Below is our last newsletter that you should have received... If you didn't then you should check your email setting in your profile...

What a brilliant year for the Iberianature Forum...Now at 319 members, over 17,000 posts in close to 2000 topics there is a lot of information for anyone looking to find out more about general nature. Thank you to everyone who has helped to make the forum a friendly, happy and informative place... It’s your questions, observations and answers that make it work!

We're very pleased to see more and more Spanish members joining and contributing to the forum. One of our original objectives was to attract Spanish members and we suspect iberianature forum is the only English-language internet forum about the nature of Spain in which Spanish people have shown any interest in joining. English for us is the international lingua franca and although we have no plans to switch to bi-lingual anyone wishing to post in the Spanish language is most welcome to especially when it comes to news about specific wildlife studies and news articles....

With the incredibly knowledgeable membership we have, the forum can only get better and better and we are very much looking forward to 2009, some great new changes and improvements are being planned behind the scenes.....

Autumn unsurprisingly brought lots of fungi ids including the remarkable “Strange slimy fungus that looks like a scat”
