The half centrury is getting ever closer for Mr Dragon

A very happy birthday to you Parthenope.... AKA Steve! The thing about getting older is all that stuff you know about.... If you could just remember where you put that memory... :)

Happy Birthday Parthenope

Belated thanks to everyone,

Getting closer to the big 50 isn't so bad, at least I don't think it is, if only I could remember.  :speechless:

As my son's very apt card to me proclaimed: The brain is a wonderful organ. It starts working the moment you get up in the morning and does not stop until you get into the office

Getting the book finished was the best birthday present of all :clapping: I'm so glad to see the back of it and ended up writing far too much for such a small volume!

Anyway I must go and book my 50th birthday party at the Los Naranjos Dragonfly reserve with a book launch & buffet at the Grazalema visitor centre afterwards. I hear the new people who have got the franchise are exceptional.

Happy Birthday Steve, and congratulations on your book.  That was good-timing, to have it finished and out of the way before spring!

Thanks Lucy,

I'm hoping the Insects of Cornwall & the Isles of Scilly, a modest little pocket guide, will be out by mid to late summer.
