Net shaped fungus ID

I found a fungus in the pine woods above El Bosque in Andalucia a couple of weeks ago.

Bright Orange in colour, up to 12cm in size, and is an enclosedopen lattice structure. On first sight it looks like an old piece of fishing netting.
It also  has a rotting smell similar to that of a dead animal if that is of any help.
Has anyone any idea what it is?
I have tried to attach a picture but seem to have failedto do so :)

Your fungus sounds like Latticed Stinkhorn - Clathrus ruber
