Hi All,

Can you ID this tree for me, it is the only one on the bank of a small stream, the "fruit/flowers" was whitish to start with - then it turns red - as shown.

Regards

Syd

My favourite fruits - Mulberries - Morus cf. nigra, family Moraceae.

Cheers,

Thomas

Hi Syd
We have an avenue of these in my Street Paseo de Salamanca, they are mostly the white variety, with just one or 2 Black (red) ones, as Ricky Jose says, they are delicious, use like Blackberries

Hi All,

Thank you for the ID, my wife thought they looked like Loganberries, but we knew they couldn´t be as my dad used to grow them in the back garden. The wifes a bit peeved as she would have picked them for jam had she known. Another day perhaps!!
