Hi all,

A " fruit tree" for ID please  found on the Guadlahorce reserve (Malaga)

Looks like a sort of membrillo (Cydonia).

Cydonia is a monotypic genus, so IT is a "membrillo" (in english: Quince). The name is Cydonia oblonga.

Similar genus are Pseudocydonia and Chaenomeles.

Thanks for that Imust admit I have seen the full fruited Quince but not at this stage..
