Mind you living in extremadura not surprising really! I joined back in 2008, but had a few problems with internet in a very rural area@ Maybe we have enough coverage now for the site to be accessible again. By the way is it a regional thing or have there been a heck of a lot of snakes this year....9 in one day on our couple of hectares!

I also have been seeing a lot of snakes this year... maybe due to a warmer damper winter and less hibernation die off ???

A week ago we saw a montpellier ( culebra bastarda) with 4 males on her back...quite an impressive sight but (sensibly) she was in the shade so we couldn't catch a clear photo!
