And another...

This time, an impressive-looking "horned" spider making a meal out of a cicada!

Some more searching on-line suggests that this could be Cyrtophora citricola....?

Looks like Cyrtophora citricola, but I´m no expert on this. Where did you find it? They like to make colonies in Agave  or cactus thickets.

It was a single spider on the rosemary bushes at my in-laws' house, near Elche. It had a pretty elaborate web!
