I'm quite new to birding (less than 2 years) and looking forward to visiting Spain in September. We will drive from Bilbao to Monfrague for 4 days at Torrejón el Rubio then North to the north of the Picos de Europa. I would be very interest to know of any raptor feeding stations in either area. Hope fully with (close) opportunities for photography. I have seen a rather old thread on Feeding Stations but with the expansion of such projects thought new info might be available. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi there and welcome to the forum.....

Though the site is a bit difficult to navigate (you have to hover over the icons at the top ish of the page in the yellow area) There is a lot of info on this site.... http://www.seo.org/zona/monfrague/ - You can choose the language at the top though the english is a bit odd in places... :)

For the picos de Europa I would definately consider staying at http://picos-accommodation.co.uk/ - Lisa who runs the place with her husband is a long time member of this forum and I am sure that her great wildlife knowledge of the area will help you out....
