A little mystery: I was away for a few days last week, and when I came back, all the seed pods of my azucenas (Lilium candidum) had disappeared! And I´ve got a lot! The weather had been bad, so I thought: hailstorm, but then I should have found some pods on the ground. The plant is considered poisonous, but usually there is some sort of animal resistant to the poison, so do anyone know of an animal with a taste of lily seeds? It has never happened before in the 10 years, I´ve been here!
The seed pods were all broken off the stem right at the top. Perhaps somebody stole them, but I doubt that anyone would climb up our drive for that purpose
