It has the shape of one of the water beetles but other than that I have no idea! :)

Thanks Clive, general consensus from other parties suggested it was a type of Cicada. I'm no expert but this sort of thing interests me. Thanks for your reply.

It is a jewel beetle (Bupestridae). I dont know which species though.
