By the way the new layout on the blog looks excellent... I like the bold green for the hyperlinks very much

Managed at last to work out how to add a new feature called a sideblog which permits me to right short piece of news and feeds.

It's the thing in the right-hand column

Hey Nick, that third column looks excellent... Shame about the top headline snippet though.. Its a bit depressing... however the second one cheered me up!

I see you are still having trouble with those Spanish characters.... are you set on UTF8?

Thanks Clive,

I tried changing to UTF8 but it completley messed up things

I think the thing got messed up when my database got corrupted several months ago. It messed up Castilla y León and several other with accents, but all new categories since are working fine.

Hi Nick, so you could try to rename the categories that are being bad but I guess you tried that already..

Another way would be to create another category called Doñana and then assign all the articles in the old wrongly named one to the new one... I used Doñana because you don't have hundreds or articles in there to re assign... Best to try this with a broken titled category that doesn't have many articles in it...

I notice that Lisa has used up all the Santa Smilies  :santa_evil:

That's must be the way to do it Clive. I should get round to it. Thanks.

Still to much space, I think , at the end of each article. Don't know what this called.

Lisa,

Tudancas are on my world favourite cows.
