Fungus on ailing Poplar tree

Hi All

There is a very tall but ailing Poplar tree in our garden. It has three different types of fungus growing upon it that we thought you ‘shroomies may appreciate looking at.

you thought i'd been a bit quiet this week then! No, I have left them for nature as i don't like to eat any type of mushrooms and Clive is more cautious since he once read the recipe wrong in his youth and is lucky to still be around!!

Not managed to get out 'shrooming myself yet this year but stick to 3 or 4 known species. I at least triple check any unknowns before testing them out on Mike  :biggrin:
